Hi there.  I’m glad you found my site!

A little bit about me:

After working in my awesome family business (started by my grandparents in the 60’s) for over 30 years,  in 2016 the tough decision was made to leave the confectionery family business in Fort Wayne, IN to pursue a career in something I truly love; working with metal and leather.  In 2001 my kids and I took a forever memorable trip out West with my dad and I bought a bunch of scrap leather.  I didn’t really know what I was going to do with it, but I have always loved the look, feel, texture, and especially the smell of leather and I couldn’t resist buying it.   A few years later I started buying some beads and beading supplies,  and I wanted to learn more; much more.   I have always been drawn to both metal and leather so I bought lots of books, took many classes, and learned how to work with metal.  The leather scraps sat around for several years until I found a way to put them to good use; handmade jewelry, journals, and other accessories. I’m still learning different techniques and loving them all!   What inspires me the most  is music, nature, others’ creativity, nostalgia, and an overall sense of joy.  I simply love wearing, looking at, but most of all creating  jewelry!  And I will NEVER have enough tools and supplies!

How to purchase:

My products can be purchased on Etsy, directly on Facebook, retailers, and at art fairs or other events.  I can reproduce or create a similar item, if a piece is categorized as “sold”; or if another size/color is preferred.  Just let me know if a piece interests you.  Thank you!
